The Va. State Championships were held this past weekend and what an Explosive venue it was.
There were (55) fighters who showed up for the First WKKO State Championship. Promoters Roger Dabney and
Chris Manuel came away saying WOW!!! Here is the breakdown of State Champions and Teams that represented:

Junior Girls division:

1.) Jessica Goldyn defeated Samantha Schultz in the girls 8 and 9 yrs old 59lbs - 66lbs weight class

2.) Julia Vonfecht defeated Ludovica Grimaldi in Girls 9 and 10 yrs of age 67lbs - 74lbs

3.) Marzia Grimaldi did an Exhibition against Adriana Kaul FCR
Marzia Grimaldi is the Va. State Champion in the 123lbs - 130lbs junior girls 16 and 17 yrs old Div.
Adriana Kaul is the Va. State Champion in the Junior girls 99lbs - 106lbs 16 and 17 yr Div.

Junior Boys Division:

1.) Christian Holcomb defeated John Huskey in the Junior boys 59lbs - 66lbs 6 and 7 yr div.

2.) A.J.Atkins did a Exhibition fight against Tyler Keller FCR
A.J.Atkins is the Va. State Champion in 6 and 7 yrs old 75lbs - 82lbs
Tyler Keller is the Va. State Champion in the junior Boys 10 -11 yr old 51lbs - 58lbs Div.
3.) Wes Sorey did a Exhibition Fight against A.J.Atkins FCR
Wes Sorey is the Va. State Champion in the 8 and 9 yr old 83lbs - 90lbs Div.
4.) Lorenzo Grimaldi did a Exhibition against Colton Reifert FCR

1.) Tara Smith Defeated Amanda Ballew in the Womens 141lbs - 147lbs Div. FCR

2.) Amanda Mathews had an exhibition
Amanda Mathews is the Va. State Champion in the Womens 116lbs - 120lbs FCR Div.
3.) Brooke Burnette had an exhibition
Brooke Burnette is the Va. State Champion in the Womens 179lbs - 186lbs FCR Div.

Adult Men:

1.) Matt Thomas had an exhibition with Greg Green
Matt Thomas is the Va. State Champion in the Mens 134lbs - 140lbs FCR Div.
2.) Chris Taylor defeated Steven Caufield in the mens 141lbs - 153lbs FCR Div.
2.) Chris Taylor was to fight Joey Martinez for the Mens State Championship but could not continue after the fight
with Steven Copeland. Therefore Joey Martinez is the Va. State Champion.
3.) Dean Lavin Defeated the Current State Champion in the Mens 148lbs - 154lbs FCR Div.
Dean Lavin is the New State Champion for that Div.
4.) Steve Mann remained the Va. State Champion by defeating Brian Martin in the Mens 155lbs - 162lbs FCR Div.
5.) Wayne Revels Defeated Jerome Wilson in the Mens 163lbs - 170lbs FCR Div.
5.) Michael Davenport remained the Va. state Champion in the Mens 163lbs - 170lbs FCR Div.
6.) Mike Decker defeated Arenzo Jefferson in the Mens 187lbs - 193lbs FCR Div.
